Welcome to the 2016-17 school year!
The purpose of this newsletter is to provide high school counselors with updated and relevant information from the California Student Aid Commission.
As we get ready for FAFSA submissions from students and GPA submissions from high school counselors, we are doing everything we can to make the process as easy and smooth as possible.


School Year 2016 — 2017 Newsletters

CSAC News Letter As we close out 2016 and welcome in 2017
We want to bring you a check-list of the Commissionís top priorities for High School Counselors this quarter. With the early FAFSA the Commission was able to begin notifying students of their Cal Grant Award Status in November 2016. This allowed over 65,000 students more time to effectively plan for college and allow counselors enough time to assist these students with college decisions and preparations.    READ MORE...
